In December we asked for your prayers for Geofri, a 13-year-old Romanian boy who spent the first 12 years of his life as an abandoned and abused child.

At that time we were encouraged that a loving couple, Simona and Serghei, had decided to adopt Geofri, even with his multiple physical as well as emotional health issues.

We asked you to pray that God would provide funding for the family’s expensive weekly counseling and therapy sessions, along with Geofri’s many medical appointments and special trauma trainings for Simona and Serghei.

We are pleased to report that gifts received from 2020’s Giving Tuesday are making a remarkable impact on Geofri’s life, providing for these needs. The family is incredibly grateful. Your prayers were instrumental in the ongoing transformation in Geofri’s life. And, as his life is blossoming, his parents also have the post-adoption support that they need to encourage and help him. Thank you so much for standing with them during these past several months, and please continue to pray that Geofri’s recovery would be complete and lasting.
