Adoptions in Paraguay at a Standstill 

Non-emergency court cases have been halted in many countries—including Paraguay—during the COVID-19 crisis. This means fewer adoptions/foster placements are happening. AFFEO partners in Paraguay are advocating for better systems of support for families during this interim period and for creative solutions to keep adoption and foster care cases moving (such as video conference court hearings).
