Adoptive Family Covets Our Prayers

Hanna and Anatoly have a deep and practical compassion for orphans. Since 2012 their family has adopted nine children, six of whom are siblings. Four of the children are young adults and live independently, but Hanna and Anatoly continue to care for the five minors.

“We hadn’t planned to adopt that many children,” they told us, “but the biological mother of our first adopted child gave birth to seven more children. Two of them died because of neglect, and five were removed from her care over several years and placed in orphanages. One by one we adopted them all. We love them with all our hearts and want the best for them.” The five children still in their care range from one to 14 years of age. Two of them have special needs.

Hanna’s and Anatoly’s 19-year-old car recently broke down. Unfortunately, they can’t afford a new vehicle at this point (Anatoly is a railway worker, and Hanna works for a non-profit organization). Because of the ongoing war and missile attacks, they would like to have a minivan so that their whole family can fit into it and get to a safe region if necessary. “It would bring great relief knowing that we have a vehicle to escape the danger if needed!”

Won’t you please join us in prayer that the Lord would provide the necessary funds to provide a minivan for Hanna, Anatoly and their family? In addition to a possible emergency evacuation, transport is also needed for daily needs such as taking the children to medical exams, urgent medical visits, school, and going to the store together. Hanna and Anatoly have dedicated their lives to serving the orphan and the fatherless; let us lift our voices to the Giver of all good gifts and ask Him to meet this special need.

Thank you for standing with families such as this who have sacrificed much to give vulnerable children a safe, secure and loving forever family.
