Aban has seen firsthand how God can transform family’s life from hardship to hope.
His family, living in Ghana, quickly expanded from five to seven with the arrival of his twin brothers. But although the twins’ arrival brought immense joy, it also brought unforeseen challenges.
Complications during the birth led to mounting debt. And Aban’s father was unable to work due to severe health issues. The family struggled to make ends meet. The family faced hunger, and Aban was at risk of having to withdraw from school to save money.
Providentially, AFFEO has partners in Ghana and was able to provide Aban and his family with critical support at just the right time. Because of gifts from people like you, his family was able to receive nutritious food and daily essentials. In addition the family secured a path to education for all the brothers. Such gifts not only provided immediate relief, but also ensured that Aban and his brothers would remain in their family.
We are so grateful that Aban’s family is able to stay together! But the need continues. Please pray with us that Aban’s father will find medical assistance for his severe health problems.
