The 22nd observance of Orphan Sunday is just around the corner! Let’s join millions across the globe as they join their hearts in prayer for orphans and vulnerable children.
Sunday, November 12 is Orphan Sunday and the very next day, November 13, is World Orphan Day. The Orphan Sunday movement has changed the lives of countless children in more than 120 countries around the world.
This year, in addition to especially praying for those recently orphaned in Israel, Palestine, Libya (floods), Maui (fires) and Morocco (earthquake), let’s continue to pray for vulnerable children in Ukraine as they face the horrors of war in addition to freezing temperatures.
Many of these children don’t know where their next meal is coming from, where they will sleep, or if there is anyone who will ever care for them. Please share with your friends, family and church about why you are passionate about caring for orphans around the world. Then invite them to join millions on Orphan Sunday to pray.
Thank you so much for praying! Your prayers are vital to the countless little ones who so desperately need basic necessities, stability, safety, peace, and a forever home with someone who loves them
