Back in December we asked you pray for Augustin, a little boy in Kyrgyzstan. His foster mother, Maria, had been  caring for him for several months but was running into many snags with his adoption paperwork. If she wasn’t able to hire an adoption lawyer quickly to help her navigate the logistical hurdles, she ran significant risk of losing Augustin permanently.

Your prayers were answered when God directed her to one of our partner organizations and also provided the necessary funds for Maria to hire an adoption lawyer to help with the paperwork. Maria reported that the adoption wouldn’t have been possible without that lawyer! Because of your prayers, Augustin now has a forever family; Maria, has officially gained permanent custody of Augustin.

Maria she says he is such a happy boy now. She takes him on nature walks and to playgrounds each week, and he loves spending this special time with his new mama. He also visits his new grandmother frequently, and she cooks him a special treat each time he visits. In addition, Augustin has blossomed in kindergarten, and he loves being with other children learning new, fun, and exciting things. His teachers have seen so much positive improvement in him since he’s been with Maria.
