Last month we asked you to pray for urgently needed heat across Ukraine. As Russia continues to target Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, widespread blackouts have left entire communities without basic necessities like electricity, heat, and even running water.
Your prayers are making a difference! Thus far, they have help provide more than 200 Ukrainian children with warmth.
One grateful family is Tatiana, her husband and their five school-aged children. While Tatiana’s husband works and she cares for the children at home, the rising cost of food, clothing, and utilities made it difficult to meet every need. As winter approached, their one overriding concern was heat. Their home is warmed by a wood-burning stove, and without enough firewood, the cold months could bring a real risk for their children.
But your prayers and the gifts of our AFFEO family eased that concern! Tatiana’s family can now enjoy warmth and peace of mind the with the provision of much-needed firewood. As Tatiana and her husband do their utmost to raise their kids with dedication and love they are relieved that their children can sleep warmly, stay healthy, and focus on being kids, even in uncertain times.
