We just received word from our colleague in India that Rudra, a 12-year-old boy in the Pakur region, was playing outside when an electricity transformer fell on top of him. Rudra suffered bad burns on 70% of his body and he needs immediate, specialized attention.

Due to the extensive degree of burn damage, his current doctors want him transferred ASAP to a larger, more sophisticated hospital that is better-equipped to handle his needs—a hospital that is nine hours’ drive from where Rudra lives.

Please pray that the Great Physician would stabilize Rudra’s condition. And ask God to provide the funds necessary to move Rudra to this better hospital and cover the cost of his care. Rudra’s mother, Priya, is extremely poor, and he has no father.
