Anna and Natalia, friends who recently aged out of an orphanage in eastern Ukraine, found themselves in the crosshairs of a battle for their city. By the grace of God, our partners were able to assist them in evacuating to safety in the west.

| When the war started, Dima, a widower and adoptive father to many, was undergoing chemotherapy for cancer at a hospital in Mariupol. While he stayed behind for many days to complete his treatment, his children were evacuated to safety in the west. Upon his release, you provided the means for him to reach safety and be reunited with his children who were eagerly awaiting his arrival. His children have already suffered unimaginable loss from the death of their mother from COVID prior to the war.
